Beer Brats

A Midwestern classic, beer brats are essential for tailgating, back yard bbqs and holidays.

  • 1 package brats
  • 2 cans Light beer 
  • 1  Onion
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 package S.Rosen's Brat & Sausage Rolls


  1. Sauté onions in olive oil in bottom of Dutch oven. Once onions have softened add brat.
  2. Let cook slightly then slowly add beer. Allow to simmer at least 1 hour.
  3. When ready grill brats and then return to beer broth.
  4. Serve brat with onions and mustard.
