Irish Banger Dogs

Instead of Bangers and Mash, enjoy an Irish "Banger" sausage on one of our Brat and Sausage Rolls for a fun twist on an Irish classic.

  • 4 S. Rosen's Brat & Sausage Rolls
  • 1/2 lb Irish banger sausages
  • 1/4 cup Irish lager beer
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 Tblsp butter
  • Horseradish sauce


  1. In a large skillet with a small amount of butter, cook bangers on all sides until cooked through.  Set aside and keep warm.
  2. Melt butter in the same skillet, add onions, and cook until they begin to brown.  Add lager beer and cook until tender.  Toast buns, and place bangers inside.
  3. Top bangers with sauteed onions and horseradish sauce.  Add chives and sauteed cabbage if desired.
