Irish Stout Cheese Spread

Whenever you're in need of a delicious appetizer that's easy to make and sure to please, just pull out this recipe for a creamy Irish cheese spread featuring our cocktail rye.

  • S. Rosen's Cocktail Rye, Caraway and/or Pumpernickel
  • 2 oz Kerrygold Cashel Blue Cheese, cut up
  • 3 oz cream cheese, cut up
  • 1/2 lb sharp cheddar cheese, cut up
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 cup Irish stout
  • 1 tsp caraway seeds (optional)


  1. Combine the cut up cheddar, blue, and cream cheese in a blender.
  2. Add in the Caraway seeds (if desired), paprika, and Irish stout.
  3. Blend all of the above until smooth.
  4. Place your blended cheese spread into a serving bowl.
  5. Serve at room temperature with two sleeves of S. Rosen's Cocktail Rye (Caraway or Pumpernickel variety).
