10 S. Rosen's Mini French Rolls

1 lb Ground Italian Sausage (hot or mild)

1/2 Cup sliced green peppers

1/2 Cup sliced red peppers

1/2 Cup sliced white onion

10 Slices of Provolone cheese

2 Tbsp. melted butter

1 tsp. Garlic powder (or grated garlic)

Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. While preheating, cook the Italian sausage in a nonstick pan over medium high heat. Add sliced peppers and onions after the sausage is nice and browned. Cook until the peppers and onions have just softened. Remove from heat.

2. Arrange mini-French rolls in a pan, sliced side facing up. Place one provolone slice in each roll. Fill each roll with the ground sausage mixture.

3. Combine melted butter and garlic powder. Once all sandwiches have been filled, brush the rolls with the garlic butter.

4. Bake for 10 minutes, then dust with Parmesan. Serve hot and enjoy!
