Teriyaki Sliders

An excellent option for tailgate parties these little sliders are easy to make and delicious. Let the slow cooker do the work on game day!

Ingredients

  • 3 lb. pork shoulder
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • BBQ sauce to taste *optional
  • 2 packages S.Rosen's Hawaiian Rolls
  • For Asian slaw:
  • 4 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tbsp sesame oil
  • 24 oz. shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup diced scallions

Directions

  1. Rub pork shoulder with vegetable oil, minced garlic, scallions, pineapple juice and half of teriyaki sauce. Cook Pork in slow cooker 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
  2. While pork cooks start the Asian slaw by combining the first 5 ingredients. Combine with cabbage, scallions, and sesame seeds then refrigerate until needed.
  3. When pork is tender shred.
  4. Add remaining teriyaki sauce and BBQ sauce, and wait 20 minutes.
  5. Load the sliced Hawaiian Rolls with pulled pork and top with Asian slaw.
