The Casmir Pulaski Club Sandwich

If you grew up in Illinois you know Casmir Pulaski. Maybe not his details (revolutionary war hero, father of the American Cavalry) but you know his holiday. And in honor of this Polish-American hero we’ve created a sandwich with ingredients that are a love note to Chicago’s large and thriving Polish population and S.Rosen’s Polish heritage.

Ingredients

  • 2 Slices S.Rosen’s Seeded Rye Bread
  • 4 oz. Sliced polish ham
  • Polish mustard (we found Pulaski brand mustard so we used that!)
  • Horseradish cheese
  • Fresh dill

Directions

  1. Start with a spread of Polish mustard on the base slice of bread, then add the ham. After the ham add the cheese slices, and fresh dill.
  2. Spread some more of the mustard on the other piece of bread then place it on top the tower of indigents. Enjoy!
